Hi, I'm Rachel Beakers, and I've dedicated over a decade to helping individuals and couples navigate their challenges and find healing.
My journey into therapy started with a deep passion for understanding human behavior and a genuine desire to support others.
I believe in a collaborative approach, where we work together to explore your thoughts and emotions in a safe, non-judgmental space. Combining evidence-based techniques with empathy and warmth, I strive to create a therapeutic experience that empowers you to make meaningful changes and move forward with confidence.



Individual Therapy
Individual therapy sessions provide a safe and supportive space for personal growth and healing. As a therapist I will work with you to address your specific needs and goals.

Couples Therapy
Couples therapy sessions focus on improving communication, resolving conflicts, and strengthening the bond between partners. As your therapist I will guide you through the process of rebuilding trust and creating a healthier relationship.

Family Therapy
family therapy sessions aim to improve family dynamics, enhance communication, and resolve conflicts. I will work with your family as a whole to promote understanding, empathy, and positive change.

What you can expect starting your therapy journey with me
I offer a free 25min consultation call to discuss your needs and answer any questions you may have about the way I work.
Therapy sessions last 60 minutes and can be conducted online via zoom, your prefered video confrencing platform or face-to-face at my cozy and spacious therapy practice.
My going rate for all 60 minute sessions is £55 I kindly request payments are made in advance and are non-refundable up to 48 hours before the appointment.

Here are some common questions clients often ask before starting counselling.
In your first session, we'll discuss your reasons for seeking therapy, your goals, and any concerns you have. It's an opportunity for us to get to know each other and to create a comfortable space where you can express yourself freely. We'll also talk about confidentiality and what you can expect from our work together.
The duration of therapy varies depending on your individual needs and goals. Some people may benefit from a few sessions, while others may choose to engage in therapy for several months or longer. We'll regularly check in on your progress to ensure we're moving in the right direction.
Confidentiality is a cornerstone of therapy. Everything you share with me is private, with a few exceptions, such as if there is a risk of harm to yourself or others. We'll discuss these limits in our first session so you can feel secure in our work together.
I offer several types of therapy depending on your needs, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches. We'll choose the method that best suits your situation and goals.
You'll know therapy is working when you start to notice changes in your thoughts, feelings, or behaviors that align with your goals. We'll regularly review your progress together, and you should feel increasingly empowered to manage your challenges. If you're ever unsure, we can discuss your concerns at any time.
